Physical attraction is undoubtedly very important but what draws us back to people and makes us long for more, goes far beyond the visual.

It's not the beautiful faces of our friends that make us love them, it's the way they inspire the best in us, the way we can cry on their shoulders and hold our hearts with care, the way they catch us when we fall. It is not our eyes, but our words and hands that can comfort another. It's not the shape of our lips that makes our lovers long for our kisses. It's not the view of the sun that makes life grow, even though watching it's rays at sunrise is beautiful. We ache for more than the view of the ocean, we want to feel the sand underneath our toes, and smell the fresh breeze, taste the salt in the air and hear the seagulls flying over us. It's not looking at our Award's that make us proud, but the feeling of recognition and appreciation, achievement and satisfaction after the hard work we've done to deserve them. It is not looking at the height of our children that makes us realise they've grown.

It is not the beautiful gifts we receive from our loved ones, that we cherish but the thought and endless love behind them.
